May 3 – 8, Brooklyn Academy of Music. Company dancer with New York City’s Flamenco Vivo, presenting their 2016 Home Season show, Voces de Andalucia, a three-part suite of contemporary flamenco dance and music including an international cast of artists from Spain & the US. Featuring the world premiere PiCa, Susana di Palma’s dance/fantasy about Picasso; Federico, a celebration of Federico Garcia Lorca’s creative genius; and Música Andaluza, an adaption of Lorca verses, in a world premiere composition by Gaspar Rodriguez. The program also includes Angeles II, choreographed and performed by British National Dance Award nominee Ángel Muñoz.
